Description

6-9pm on Thursday 8th March

Cost: £12.50

Taking the opportunity of International Women’s Day, we are bringing together some of the region’s female business leaders and younger aspiring female talent to discuss barriers and what can be done to trigger change.

We will draw on our own experiences about how women can create support networks within their own organisations and seek out what they need to help them progress. It will give the next generation a chance to hear from female leaders in a private setting and build valuable relationships.

The beginning of the discussion will be framed by Paula Deas, Operations Director at Coventry & Warwickshire Local Enterprise Partnership (CWLEP). Playing a key role in the LEP’s formulation, Paula has worked with central government to secure in excess of £130m for Coventry & Warwickshire projects as part of the area’s Growth Deal. Used to working collaboratively in multi sector partnerships, Paula has over 25 years experience in strategic and operational roles. Focused on making a difference by removing barriers to growth, Paula continues to ensure that CWLEP is the lead agency for delivering business growth in Coventry and Warwickshire.

The dinner will be held according to the Chatham House Rule.

Places are limited and available on a first come, first served basis. It will take place over a two course meal in a private dining room at the Ramada, Coventry city centre. The cost is subsidised by Coventry & Warwickshire First, so attendance is just £12.50.

Our aim is to bring people together to stimulate debate and provide an opportunity for our members to put the issues they believe to be important directly to key individuals in the region.
